Amendment XVI

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration."
I was asked to design a typographic poster based on one of the amendments of the United States constitution. Since I am Norwegian, from a socialist country, I thought it would be interesting to design a poster based on the 16th amendment dealing with taxes. All the text of the amendment had to be incorporated in the poster. My final design mimicked a tax form, and was printed on newsprint.
