I am a recent Graphic Design graduate (BFA 2017) from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore. I have several years of experience working various jobs. Through these jobs I gained knowledge working collaboratively on a team, as well as taking charge and being my own supervisor. I discovered my combined interest in creativity and organization, which led me to pursue graphic design as a profession. While at MICA, I have taken a special interest in social design and systems thinking through design. Participating in Practice Based Studios through the MICA Center for Social Design gave me valuable real-world experience on how to design tools and services that support positive change through understanding and defining problems. I am looking for further opportunities where I can utilize my skills set to make a positive difference. When I am not designing, I love to spend time outdoors in the woods. I have a passion for long-distance running and the science of brewing an excellent cup of coffee.
